Off to a good start! One month after starting our outdoor themed tshirt business

The past month of running our Tshirt and merch ecommerce store has been a wild adventure. Together, as a husband and wife team, we have had a lot of fun together creating designs and talking about the future of ROAMfree Outdoor Apparel & Merch. We began our shop by posting pretty much anything that came to mind, which was great experience for design, product selection with our Print-On-Demand provider (Printify) and setting up all the little details for each product. We're happy to report that all orders have arrived so far within a week of placing their order! man modeling a gray tshirt with a saguaro cactus on it

The past couple months we have had a lot of new experiences in this journey in the graphic tee biz. We have ordered product ourselves to see the final outcomes, received great feedback from the nearly $700 in sales, and are defining our brand. With all this, we're in the process of pairing down our selection. We're finding out what we like and don't like about certain designs. We're coming together on a lot of details that, while not set in stone, will affect the near future of our little family business.

Most importantly, we've had some great planning seshes about how we can best use the portion we are setting aside for community aid. We lived in the Grand Canyon National Park for nearly 6 months this past summer working and serving with the community. We saw a lot of opportunities to help out these servants of the Grand Canyon. In order to live within the park, you must be working for the park in some capacity. There are thousands of hard working individuals and families that are there to serve the millions of visitors to the park each year. The majority of these workers are far away from their support circles, and basic shopping in the area is scarce and expensive due being in a tourist spot. (Think $9 for a basic container of ice cream). We have some ideas in the works for helping this community of National Park workers utilizing already established community efforts. We benefited from the food pantry and the free clothing closet during our stay, and we'd like to give back to these efforts in order to help out any workers that may be struggling financially or just need a pair of gloves for the winter.

We're glad you're here, thanks for reading! We love that you've chosen to ROAMfree With Us!
